Happy New year all

Just a quick question pls. I have a '01 Citroen C5 with a knackered gear knob.....anyone know if there is a clip/pin to remove or is it a twisty job/pull off affair. Want to replace the gearknob but hopefully reuse the gaiter

Thanks

If the knob is not the screw on variety then they normally just tug off, sometimes inserting a feeler gauge up each side of the stick helps to release the clips that hold it on

thanks jj4091 ...... will give it a go..... dont fancy being fleeced by the dealer ... should be straightforward enough

go to a dealer, ask for a repalce ment one, see does it screw in, then "change your mind"

Cheapskate :D :D Good idea though.

On the 306 I had, the gear stick has splines at the top and is a square shape. It literally pulls off, but takes some force! I had one knee on each front seat and pulled it up and twisted it.. Maybe it's the same?
