I am considering installing wet under floor heating in a bungalow I'm modernising. I have spoken to different people about the type of boiler that is most efficient in terms of heat production (central heating and hit water) and get differing views. Some advocate a combi boiler others a condensing boiler and a tank boiler whatever that is. Has anyone had this dilemma themselves?

As well as running UFH we will also have 2 bathrooms. If we had two showed running simultaneously or a shower and washing machine on at the same time, how would that affect our decision on which type of boiler to install?

2 showers running together will be a struggle for most combi's.

Go with the separate boiler+tank setup.
