Hello,

For a loft conversion... I would like to fit as small a cold water tank as would be required by regulations. I've searched other posts but not really seen a clear answer to that.

The existing cold tank feeds the bathroom tap, toilet, and h/w cylinder. We have an electric shower off mains water.

Can anyone advise what the minimum acceptable tank size would be? I've looked for BS6700 but apparently it is not an online resource (that I can find).

Another factor - I might also change the cold water in the bathroom to use mains (unless higher pressure would be a concern?) which would reduce the usage of stored water even further.

Thanks,
David

25 gallon if only the hw cylinder.
50 gallon if the taps etc also being supplied.
