hello guys
i'm replacing my old not-combi boiler with a new one.
if i do so, do i need to replace the radiator valves and locksheilds? (not sure of the names, i mean the IN and out Valves)?

and in general, is there any other changes should be done when someone changes to combi-boiler system?

You are supposed to have thermostatic radiator valves fitted
to reduce heating costs.

However I have come to the conclusion because they fail or stick
so regularly that they are more trouble than they are worth
so I would leave them alone.

You should certainly have a wall thermostat fitted if you haven't
got one already.

As a MINIMUM you should have Thermostatic Valves on the Bedroom Rads, and a Room Thermostat in the Sitting room to comply with Building regs Part L1.
