Combi Boiler In Hard Water Area

I've recently installed a Jaguar Combi Boiler and live in a hard water area.

How soon should I fit a descaler such as a 'Combi-mate'?

I have a Jaguar 23 combi boiler. I am trying to locate the screw or knob to top up the water in the system (the water pressure goes from 0.1 to 0.5 bar - Should be at 1 bar minimum). Do you know where this screw or know is? Do you know how I could find out?
