combi boiler no hot water

on my worcs bosch combi the overheat button pops up after 20 secs of turning hot tap on. the rads are half hot at the top only, with the upstairs rads being luke warm (yes i have bled them, and the pressure in boiler is 1.5) and the boiler is noisy... help i need a shower!!! please!!

I'm not a heating engineer (yet) but have seen a similar problem solved by bleeding the pump. Locate the pump and undo chrome screw in centre.
When water escapes screw back up and test.

WHile you have the screw out of the middle of the pump, make sure the shaft turns when it should. You'll have to catch a bit of water- not too much.
