What would cause the boiler to cut out so often, it will come back on after pressing the reset button?

Okay, point taken Worcester 280 9 years old when reset it works okay but cuts out at differnet intervals

to both cos the boiler itself cuts out and will only operate when it has been reset

Sorry I mean when does it cut out, when you are running hot water or central heating or does it cut out on either / both?
