Connecting hosepipe to outside tap

I know this probably sounds like something anyone would know but could someone please tell me the type of hosepipe connection I need to connect it to my outside tap, which is brass with a thread.

I was all set to use my new pressure washer on my patio and had unravelled the hosepipe only to find I had no way of connecting it firmly to the tap which I only had fitted a couple of days ago. Very frustrating!

Is it a case of going to Homebase and seeing one in a packet which says 'suitable for outside taps with threads' or will it be more complicated than that?
