consumer box additional wiring

Can I wire from the consumer box down stairs ring main to a shed. I have placed a garage consumer 40 amp R C D between consumer box and all wiring in the shed.
The shed is used for max two 13 amp. sockets. If not can you please advise. Shed is used for diy no heavy machinery.. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
