Hi, I'm about to fit an extractor fan and planed to send it to an unused roof vent.

It would have 4ft flexible from the cooker to 17ft of sewer pipe then 5.5ft of flexible to the roof tile.

Any objections to this or will it be fine?

Thanks.

Hmmm interested in this outcome, i want to use a redundant oil fired range flue/chimney for the same thing.

I suspect you might have condensation tracking back down and a potential build up to think about due to a long vertical span. that's why I've held off on doing mine.

Fine.

Any long runs of duct hose should be insulated.
