Thanks to Burnerman and Terrywookfit for your interest. Please find attached pictures of pump and if you look hard - the oil leak. Any further advice and a contact for repairs would be well appreciated.

Can't see any leak but I would expect the pump is leaking somewhere
unless it is coming from the hose or one of the connections.

Replace pump.

Ahh bless its exactly the same as mine :P
The pump to replace is a BFP21L3, and the leak will be out of the end of the drive shaft on the old one......Terry knows more about the original one than me, and I'd appreciate his input too, as the shut off solenoid is different to the BFP.
One thing though, the drive coupling from the motor is in 3 bits and it gets very crumbly with age so I'd replace that at the same time.
(All the other bits are available).
John :)
Edit (once the brain cell has been stimulated - there's no identification at all on my burner)...
Its an Electro oil Inter 99 burner and the original pumps were either a Sunstrand one (long gone but its what you have) or the aforementioned BFP.
J :)
