Why are you red-faced? You haven't done anything!!
I bought some 1.5mm T&E at the weekend to wire in some lights. Down at Wickes I picked up a spool of what I thought to be T&E from the 1.5mm T&E rack. Noticed funny colours, thought "Ooooh, the fancy new colours are here!".
Looked more carefully and couldn't figure out what was going on, I was expecting brown and blue, yet I had yellow and blue.
"Gaaaagh?!" I thought "I am not aware of this colour scheme!"
Then I spotted a fleck of red. Turned out I had picked up a coil of 3-core and earth and the red conductor had gone and "hidden" inside the outer insulation!
Luckily before walking away from the cable rack!
May I borrow that red face?
