Looking at the spec but never having actually used one against the other, to compare in real terms.
Considering there is no difference in price I would say the DC213KB was better value.

I've got the 213, I can't really fault it for performance. However, I'm now on the second one (wouldn't have brought it if I hadn't had the batteries) in 3 years so I'm not impressed with the build quality. Granted it's used most days but compared to other tools I can't say it's had a hard life. Dewalt don't seem to be what they once were
