DHW flow valve leak

I have an Alpha Ocean 240E combi. Been good as gold 15 years. It's dribbling from where the plunger pops out of the DHW flow valve to operate the microswitch. Must I replace the whole valve or is there a tweak I can perform? I notice the plunger emerges from a hex-shaped head but I don't want to mess with it until I get your opinion. Cheers.
