Dishwasher filling with water when not on.

I have a built in dishwasher. I noticed today that even though it was off, it was slowly filling with water.
I drained it, and w/in an hour it had 1-2 inches of water in the bottom.
Any ideas where to start looking for a worn part, connection etc?

its the inlet valve, its not closing properly,easier to change it
