Dishwasher leaks from bottom

Last week, my garbage disposal drain backed up. Over the weekend, I plunged it and now it seems to work fine. A few days later I noticed that after my dishwasher went through a cycle there was water on the floor that seemed to come from underneath. The cupboard under my sink is dry. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My guess is that you still have a blockage somewhere

The first thing I would do is make sure the water is not leaking under the door, check the door seal is in good condition and clean if needed.

You would appear to be right, masona. after turning on the dishwasher the water began to leak down from the area of bottom right corner of the door. there is a lot of gunk there. i cleaned it. it seemed to work. later it did it again after i'd opened the door and shut it. may have to replace the seal. is that easy? thanks for your advice.

My dishwasher is leaking from the bottom. I have checked the door and it is not leaking around the door. Also the water is not completly draining from the dishwasher after it completes the cycle.
