Dishwasher trap needed?

Hi

I've been asked to install a dishwasher in a stand alone utility room. It has an outside wall so I was planning on having the waste pipe go straight out to the drain. however will i need to fit a trap inside? If so, what type of trap do i fit?
 
Just ask for and fit a standard washing machine upstand waste and trap.
