I noticed a small fault in a tile on my roof today, however looking at original photos of the house we took when we bought it, its been there for some time.

It appears like a very thin layer of the red tile has come off but the core concrete part of the tile is still intact, just the red layer has come off.

Is this deemed urgent and repairworthy? I have not had any leaks. Attached a photo of it, its right above the apex of the roof.

    yes it needs doing.
if any water gets by then it should go onto the lead saddle, which i cant see in the picture. or onto the underlay.
not a big job, tiles look like Redland Mini Stonewold

Nor a particularly nice job either. Can you imagine the pain, if a clumsy big-foot breaks any of those valley cuts (groan).(n)
