Whats the best way to completely get rid of Dogwood, there is a Red and a Green variety in my garden, and they have started sending out runners and shooting up all over the place.
Digging I have tried but its nigh on impossible to get every piece of root out which just grows back again.
Also - tree peonies ! I successfully have 4 tiny ones, grown from seed which I planted and left outside in pots 3 years ago.
What do they like ? Soil / sun / shade ? will they be ok in large pots or tubs for a year or 3 ?
