Door frame removal

Hi,

Removed this door frame as we are replacing the normal door with a sliding barn style door. What would be the best thing to plaster over the reveal?

Could polyfilla powder be used here or would proper plaster be better?

Infil with plasterboard, thin coat corner beads and skim, feather out the beads on the room sides with gyproc easi- fill and feather in.

Sorry, but does ‘infil’ mean to fill in them gaps in the mortar or plasterboard over the whole lot?

Plasterboard it all, dot n dab. Assuming you want the reveals squared off to a paint finish.
