My window pane is loose within its frame, I think the sealant must be knackered. What is the best way of fixing this problem without buying a new window

no idea how windows are built, so don't know if its sealant or putty or what, just looking for some advice

What sort of window frame is it? uPVC, or wood? Do you mean the frame is loose to the brickwork or the glazed unit to the frame?

Its a wooden frame and the glazed unit is loose in the frame.

Use some window sealant forced into the gap, preferably from the outside, using a sealant gun. Clean off the surplus whilst it's still soft.
