Hi All

I am trying to replace a conventional Potterton timer and stat with the above.

A fused spur feeds the Potterton timeclock, which then feeds the boiler when it is switched on.

The boiler is an old Glow Worm Space Saver which serves heating only. The boiler only has a single feed (from some T&E) from the timeclock.

How would this work on the +RF2? I have the same unit on my own Combi which works perfectly.

Thanks in advance.

presume I just link the L to pin 1 and the boiler L, and the boiler N to pin 3?
NO!!!

Connect the L supply wire of the old time switch to the L terminal of the relay box.

Connect the N supply wire of the old time switch to the N terminal of the relay box and to the N terminal of the boiler

Link L to Common (1) at the Relay box

Connect Relay box Call (3) to the boiler L terminal.

Excellent, thank you so much

To add to my confusion, I cannot see the existing stat connections in the old timer - am I going mad?

This boiler is old old, not like my shiny new Worcester!
