can anyone help me, my son has poured a bottle of burgandy colour nail varnish on my cream carpet what can i use to get it out many thanks hope someone can help.[/b]
Depends on type of carpet (wool/ etc) so do a test on a corner to make sure, but acetone (nail varnish remover) should be OK. As nail varnish remover is expensive in small bottles, ask at local vehicle accessory/body repair shop or get the stuff for removing excess foam filler stuff. Rub gently with cloth and don't smoke!
but may i respectfully suggest you do NOT rub but dab on several layers off kitchen roll underneath and on top changing frequently to draw the polish out rather than spread it
