Hi there guys can anyone help me, I have a good understanding of earth bonding however I am lacking full knowledge of the bonding required when connecting my shower up. Firstly, my shower is installed as per usual 15mm copper with a compression elbow connecting to the showers plastic inlet pipe, along with continuous bonding throughout the house.

However I need to know Do I connect the shower units' earth to the copper piping or do I leave it as it is. as with the rest of the shower electrics i will be leaving it to a qualified sparky

You must connect the earth terminal in the shower to the copper pipe that supplies it.
