Eggshell paint

Hello people
My first post so apologise if this looks like a silly question
Can I put oil based eggshell paint onto walls that have been recently lined with paper ?
Is there any preps i need to do if ok to proceed?

Yes, it makes a good job in bathrooms etc. Just be sure there's absolutely no damp behind, from recent plastering or similar, or it'll peel off. Thin the first coat and be sure the room's well ventilated. Short pile rollers work well.
