Emulsion gone like orange peel

Hi can anyone help me? painted a hallway, landing and stairs, all walls look fine except the long wall that goes up the stairs, it looks like you can see every roller mark it looks like suede, have give it 4 coats rubbed it down and given it yet another 2 coats.
Please im going mad, if you look at the wall strait on, it looks a bit like orange peel but not to bad, but if you look so you are looking up the stairs it looks muck any help would be good.
It's all white matt emulsion.

If the orange peel effect was present on all walls then I could offer you a number of possible causes, yet only one wall is affected.

Are you perhaps finding this wall more difficult than the others, if so are you applying to much paint to compensate for this, are perhaps stretching in order to apply your paint. Just a couple of points to try and determine the cause of your problem. Tell me also if there was anything different applied to this wall as opposed to the others.
