Energy saving GU10 downlighters not working

Hi,

I had 4x 50W, 240V GU10 bulbs in my kitchen.
I got 4x Philips 10W(40W) 220-240V GU10 bulbs as replacement.

But they are not working for some reason.

Any ideas?

But seriously folks...

Do those lights have a dimmer? Dimmers don't like low energy lamps much....

Yes, they are doing one of the 2 functions

No, there is no dimmer at all.

What happens if you put one of the original 50W lamps back.?

Just tried now, the single original lamp works fine. None of the other 3 energy saving ones work.

Are you sure everything is 240v
