error message on handset

I have a CWD2603 DECT telephone, Base unit and 3 additional handsets. One of the handsets is showing an error message of HOLD # which I cannot get to clear.

Does anyone know how to clear that?

Try removing the batteries for a few minutes.

Hold the # button?

I assume it's a keypad lock.

Thanks, problem solved. Don't know why I didn't think about a keypad lock - pressing the # key solved it!
