Hi
I need to put some power up to a log cabin.
I will be burying conduit with a pull and then I can use it for other things in future if I need it. I have a 6 + 16 amp consumer unit in cabin the run is 40 meters so I reckon on 6mm cable. Do I have to use armoured or can I use standard stuff as iit is buried in conduit
Cheers
for your help

Must be armoured cable - the conduit has no resistance to damage nor does it have an earthed sheath ensuring (usually) that an errant digger will cause the fuse to blow rather than blowing the errant digger.

How do you know that the conduit he intends to put it in isn't made of metal?

Becuase if he is asking this question he won't have the gear to install galv conduit (at least not properly)
