Hi All,

Slightly unusual query as I am looking for guttering to lay at ground level between two old buildings. There is a very narrow brick based gully between the two buildings currently, but water is evidently penetrating as there are a number of visable damp patchs on that particular side of the cellar. The drop from the rear of the building to the street isn't significant enough to cause the rainwater to flow quickly so it pools in various spots making it's way into the brickwork.

So, I'm looking for guttering or something similar that would be roughly 15 inches wide to place in the gully. Is anyone aware of something that might be suitable?

Jim

helllooo cobblemonster and welcome :D :D :D ;)

you need an easily malleable metal like lead zinc or copper about 25" wide

you could always try a steel fabrication shop
or industrial roofing /buildings specialists
warehouses have very large sections of guttering

yup lead it, that way u can do it yourself. oh a metal reclaimers or scrap yard will give u good deals on ur lead;what u dont use they will buy it back.

keep of church roofs :)
