Hi guys,

I am about to get a sparky to fit an extractor fan in my shower room.

I wanted to know what the regulations are regarding surface electrical cables in bath and shower rooms? I have plasterboards all round and hence will not be able to put the cable in the wall.

the cable will run from the ceiling light which is in a no zone area and along the wall out towards the window which is also in a no zone area.

Also what is the best way to hide the cable on the surface?

thanks,

No cant get access from above as i am in a block of flats.

Not sure there is a big enough void for me to play with.. nevertheless it would much harder to get it done
