I,ve got to drill through a bathrom wall to fit an extractor fan, FCU from light circuit for power. When hole drilled through do you have to put any support around the vent pipework or just make good the walls?

Mine were core drilled then had a piece of [5"?] sewer pipe inserted to act as a sleeve. Fan and vent then just push into each end.

Don't forget you need a 3 pole isolator before the final connection to the fan for maintenance purposes.
