I have a proline fan assisted electric oven and a short while ago it kept starting and stopping all the time, the oven light fan etc would just shut down, them come on for say twenty seconds then go off again and never reaching it's correct temperature.

I replaced the thermostat but it has made no difference. Is there some type of cut off switch that is the cause of my problem? and where would I find it? if anyone can help I would be very grateful, especially as I am greatly missing my Sunday lunch.

sounds like dodgy connections somewhere if the thermo is OK.

Check the terminals in the cooker socket and the entry to the oven at the back.
