Fencing bolts for concrete posts

Whats the trick so i can keep the end of the bolt in tight, it as a little square, near the top of the thread, I dont want to drill right through the timber, then have it all turning when i attach the fence rail to the post.

I thought of a counter sink, buts as thats round, might be too deep

if you mean the bolt thats got a small square under the head, you should be able to drill a hole through the post the same size as the thread. once youve put the bolt through give it a few taps to get it flush and the square will sink into the timber enabling the bolt to be tightened slowley.
