Hi. I hope someone can help me with a problem I'm having with our combi boiler.
Recently, it's started to make a sort of banging noise when the pilot light ignites.
The pilot itself only stays for a few seconds, goes off, then, when it lights up, it sounds like a mini explosion in the chamber.
The hot water is fine, as is the central heating. So, I can't understand what's causing the pilot to behave so erratically. Also, I'd like to know, is this wharumping sound dangerous?
