Hi... has anyone any experience with these saws? I cut MFC and melamine-faced MDF in my business, and wonder what the cut edge is like in those materials.
All the reviews I've seen say it gives an excellent cut both sides in timber, but MFC is surely the ultimate test!

Lapacho, Jatoba and Bamboo, those are the toughest tests (Brinell upto 7) and Festool still's the best.
The 'plunge' mechanism also comes in very handy for us when installing a design parquet floor: install the pattern as close to the walls we can get and 'plunge' off the bits 'overlapping' the later installed border.
