Hi guys.

I have a rad in my spare room which is red hot at the top but luke warm at the bottom - does this need bleeding ?.

If so, I have seem many references to a filling loop in order to bring pressure back after bleeding a rad, but can find no reference as to how to do this (ie where do I access this loop).

I have a Potterton Suprima L and in the airing cupboard, have what looks like a pressure gauge (currently on 1.5) and a big red disk type thing on the floor.

Any advise appreciated.

No it doesn't need bleed ing it needs removing from the wall and flushing out with a hose pipe, probably a bit of sludge collecting it the bottom of that rad.....is your hot water cylinder a big white one marked up as a megaflo or unvented?

No its a big green one, with a small tank at top and large tank at bottom. Don't know what it is marked with as I am at work at mo, will have a look when I get home.

Thx
