The panelled doors that you get from b & q, which are so called finished, how can i paint them?
The edges are not finished and although the doors are nice and shiny and bright they have a few knocks to them.
Any help appreciated
Thanks in anticipation,
Kath

Do you mean those 'white' ones with a grained finish?

Yes, those ones. I have a mixture of finished ones and un-finished but they could all do with a lick of paint. And as i mentioned earlier the sides on the finished ones are not finished.
Thanks, Kath

Knot and prime the sides first..

Then I would go for satin or eggshell finish..its a little subte than gloss..IMO gloss on those doors makes em look like they are made of plastic.

Brush in the moulded bit first thenuse a part worn radiator roller to roll the faces of the door...strating with the top panels first.

You can lay the paint off with a brush after if you like but to be honest I fond those doors have a slight stippled effect anyway so it wont really make much difference.
