Fireplace prep for woodburner

Hello,
I'm getting a woodburner installed next week. Obviously theres a last minute panic.
Do I need to seal the brickwork in the fireplace?
I'm cleaning the brick faces and doing some repointing, and will seal the hearth, but was going to leave the brick alone until someone mentioned it.
Ideas?

Have you had advice from a HETAS or is a HETAS going to do the installation?

Yes heatas qualified doing the install.

Well if your HETAS says your good to go then there's no need for further information - check out any further queries with the HETAS you've already paid for a proper install.
