Fitting a shower tray on concrete floor.

I have a resin shower tray that i need to fit. the waste that has been installed by the builder protrudes from the concrete by about 4 inches this looks to me as if i will therefore need a stepladder to get into the shower once the waste has bee attached.

is there anyone who knows of a compact fitting that can be bought to resolve the problem??

If thats what you already have, then you will either have to raise the tray, or get the hammer and chisel out.
