Can anyone help.

I'm converting a room upstairs to a bathroom (shower, toilet hand basin). The toilet waste pipe will be 5 feet long before it hits the vertical soil stack. The fall is potentially 8 inches over 5 feet.
Question 1 - is this OK?
I also want to run the washbasin and shower waste pipe into the soil stack.
Question 2 - Could I intercept the toilet waste pipe or do I have to join the shower and washbasin waste pipes onto the vertical section of the soil pipe.

Thanks in advance

Bill

Yes that drop is ok - there are a large number of various bog connectors. The shower/ basin are best inserted into the vertical pipe where the vertical pipe is vented to the open air - thus inhibiting syphonage (

It was as you said - job done and works - the next phase is the septic tank!! a fun job

Thanks Bill
