Hi,

I want to fit a sensor which will power up 2 Flood lights (150W and a 500W) light outside and was wondering how to wire it up.

Option1: Use the live wire from the existing light in the garage

Add a switch and the floodlight

Option 2: Create a spur from the socket in the garage

Add a 30Amp junction Box from the socket (creating a spur) and add a switch and the floodlight.

Can anyone advise me what the best wy forward is?

Look at Voltek
They do a control that will supply up to 2500W of lighting.
Not cheap but quality and you can add sensors.
