Hi all,

I have cut my new MDF skirtings to the right length, but the problem is that the wall is not completely even, so there are gaps behind the skirting boards.

When this is the case, is it better to screw the skirtings on to the walls rather than using that no nail stuff that is available? I just don't think that there are enough flat areas to use no nails effectively.

Thanks alot.

Depends how bad it is. If grab adhesive won't hold it you'll have to screw it. If it's only a couple of mm out you can caulk the top of the skirting to hide the gap.
