Fitting solid wooden threshold

Laying a new solid oak floor and have bought a couple of solid oak thresholds.

The previous ones I have used came with a plastic Chanel that was fixed to the floor and the threshold clipped into it.

The ones just bought are the same shape but didn't come with a plastic chanel - anyone any ideas how to fix it in place?
