i bought some B+Q retro cladding to go over some broken tiling and plastered wall, round a door return...the existing tiles are stuck with some kind of gripfill on plywood..hence they keep cracking and are a pain to get off
the retro pack shows fixing by stapling to battens at 30 cm centres
i will be fitting about 4 planks floor to ceiling (2.4M) with suitable closing pieces at the ends and a universal corner piece..
a sort of door reveal in cladding round to the side of the bath
i had thought an adhesive would do to fix it..i have plenty of 'no nails' acrylic non solvent type
the cladding will be supported vertically on top of the skirtings and sealed off
any comments please..
i really dont want to batten since the skirting is already on the walls...
be glad when this is finished...:(
