Flame Fault

Hi,

I'm having a problem with a boiler at the minute, and what is happening is the boiler flame went out so it was reset and re-light and the boiler fired up for the central heating to work, but then upon turning the tap on for the hot water the flame went out again. i have tried a few times to re-light it and it does but as soon as the water comes on the flame goes again


any ideas anyone please??

Sorry to hijack the topic, but I'm getting exactly the same problem with my fuel-burning appliance.

Is your boiler the same make and model as mine?

Also, the system makes a noise - what could be the cause of that?

If doesn't do it all the time, only sometimes, i.e. only when I do certain things.

I take it its a combi. How about the DHW heat exchanger scaled up, boiler going to overheat when taps turned on? Is diverter valve moving ok?

No it isn't a combi, it's white, and in a box on the wall. It's got pipes.
