    Hi,

I'm using some of these on a job and having a devil of a time finding a 1/2" BSP thingamy to match:

    http://www.caleffi.com/sites/defaul....com/sites/default/files/file/01209-13_en.pdf

The fittings want to look like these:

    http://www.sycous.com/psycous_product/meter-couplings-or-unions/

Flat face union fittings with a fibre washer and a loose nut that can be slid up the rigid part to allow the HIU to be removed.

G1" primary network connections - no problem with the above parts
G3/4" heating connections - no problem with the above parts
G1/2" domestic hot water connections - problem.

What are the things called and more importantly where can I find them please?

They're NOT tap connectors, because those have spigots in the end of them, they want to be flat face unions and in 1/2"...

About the best I can find is this:

Plumb in MLCP (not a problem) and use this 1/2" flat face swivel fitting (does it swivel?) to connect to the HIU.

I assume it does swivel, else it'd be no different to this one:

    There's also:
    http://www.pegleryorkshire.co.uk/EN...39bd&Rid=67e2a05b-9542-4c7f-be76-c06f42c39b1e

    http://www.pegleryorkshire.co.uk/EN...e188&Rid=67e2a05b-9542-4c7f-be76-c06f42c39b1e

The latter looks like it comes apart, but does it?

What would you use to get this into 16 mm MLCP or 15 mm copper, whilst retaining the serviceability of flat face couplings?

    Thanks!
