Hi
Can anyone advise how deep the footings need to be for a single storey timber extension approx 2.5m x 5.5m. Is it the same depth as if it were brick extension or can it be less
 
Unless you get an engineer to prove it for all intents and purposes it will be the same. Besides depth of foundation is more to do with local ground conditions rather than whether its timber framed or trad.
