Hello, looking for advice regarding a porch i am looking to add to the front of my house.

1.My gas meter is in a meter box against the front of the house. Would this have to be moved or can i leave it where it is as long as i leave access(Will be inside a low level cupboard).

2.The electric and gas supplies would run under the new extension is this allowed or would it need to be re-routed.(The extension would have a wooden floor not concrete floor)

3. Is there a set angle for the pitch of the roof.

Thanks for any advice help.

regs state the supply to the meter cannot be covered by buildings, though how you deliver the gas from the meter to domestic is a matter for corgi and all their regs.

all roof tiles have a minimum pitch to which they can be fitted.

the minimum acceptable pitch for concrete interlocking tiles is about 15 deg. (marley wessex smooth).

minimum pitch for plain tiles is around 35 deg.
