Hi

We have a set of French UPVC double glazed doors that lead into the conservatory that are very difficult to close. In fact the handle has bowed.

We moved into the house a week ago, to stop the problem I have removed the door seal, but there is quite a draft.

Any ideas as to why the door is very difficult to close with the seals in and if so any solutions.

Cheers

Perhaps they want adjusting! It’s a fairly simple task & you should be able to adjust both hinges & the central latching bar; UPVC doors tend to settle after installation & can even vary with the seasons.

Hi Richard

Thanks for the advice, sorry it took so long to get back.

The doors have not adjustment on them, the centre bar is part of the other side of the door.

Cheers

Chris
